This process is what in other words called the micronized copper wood preservative. In this process microscopic particles of solid copper metal are mixed in a liquid carrier and injected to the wood at high pressure. The process eliminates the need to dissolve the copper as is done in earlier copper-based preservatives. The characteristics of the wood are highly improved and the when this process is used to treat wood. The time the wood products treated using this method last is longer other types of treatment.
The micronized copper preservative has proven to be highly effective in protecting the wood against fungal decay and termites. It is not corrosive to metals used in together with the product. When you use this method to treat wood, then you will not need to worry for at least ten years.
